This Week

This week has been such a pain in the ass!!! I’ve been really busy… I don’t really remember what I did last week, so I’m not going to talk about it.

On Saturday, I had to go to the library because I had to give my part of the speech chapter to the powerpoint girl (Lauren). The girl who set up the time and day was a no-show, which made Lauren, Keith (some creepo idiot), and I pissed because this happened last time we had a presentation. More on Keith- when we left the library after the very first meeting, he told us he parked in the library parking lot, so Lauren and I walked to the regular parking lot talking shit about him. So Lauren went to her car and I sat at the bus stop waiting for it to hurry up and get there, and Keith spawns out of the earth or something right by my periph, but I surprisingly didn’t scream. Then he talked to me about the strangest and randomest things while waiting for someone to pick him up. He likes talking when someone else is talking and gets louder when the original person talking decides they didn’t deserve to be interrupted. Anyway, the last of our pre-set group of 5 is John (I want to stab him in the FACE, which isn’t bad because Lauren wants to kick him in the balls), who last chapter gave his stuff to Lauren the day before we were to present it to the class. The only thing that saved him was that he made his own slides, so all Lauren had to do was quickly add them in. This chapter, he didn’t go to either meeting nor did he email anything. So Jahdine (JD we call her) and I had to split up his part, and have it ready by 8 am the next morning. At least John had good enough sense to not come to class (COLLEGE ROCKS!!!!), but our professor gave us a low grade because it was “boring” and we used the book to help present the information. First off, we weren’t the first group to use the book in our presentation, several other groups used it throughout their entire presentation. We can’t really help it if it’s boring, all the presentations have been boring. So, punishment for John will either be nothing, or we won’t give him a part and he’ll have to suffer with a zero. HAHAHA his part in this chapter dealt with trust among groupmates!!!!

I had a derivatives test which wasn’t so bad. I probably did poorly on it but the curve is gonna save me… Won’t be surprised if that happens. It had a problem where we had to answer one of the two shown, and it was a word problem with calculus involved. I hope I got partial credit on it cuz I had no friggin clue how to solve it. Still don’t.

On Wednesday, my Statistics class was cancelled because the building it was in had a small electrical fire, so they had to air out the building. I was only about 1/3 happy about this… 1/3 of the unhappiness was because I wanted to review my test (which I got back 2 weeks after taking it >.<). The other 1/3 was because I wasted 45 mins of my life getting there, only to find out the class was canceled, so I had to spend another 45 mins going home. Mom had a couple errands to run then she was going to take me to calculus, but she forgot her cell phone, so we went home. We went to eat Indian food which was very good, but we soon realized I forgot my calculator. I insisted that I didn’t need it, but we went back anyway ad we stayed home for over an hour cuz mom wanted the mail that badly. Then I went to calculus and after an excruciating hour of that test, I went to the meeting to find that John wasn’t there… I don’t understand why I had to go because my part was already finished, but whatever.

I haven’t really had time to talk to Chris this week *SOBS* I talked to him for about an hour on Tuesday, but I was trying to finish an online assignment that was due that night by 11:55 .my time. I don’t have any major tests next week, so I’ll talk to him then!  He finally ordered his headset so I can talk to him on skype!!! That way I can coerce him into singing for me all day long. He sounds really good over an electronic device!!! xP I don’t care if you all think he can’t sing. I myself can’t sing, and Chris told me so himself. So that means I suck by your standards.

I hope Chris’ internet doesn’t die when he reads it.

My day

Wow, this website looks so cool!

Not much happened today, I had my Intro to Speech class at 8, which we listened to a group present the chapter on Interpersonal communication (LOL imagine actually reading a book about communicating and taking tests about it!!!). It was both interesting and boring at the same time… I was really interested in the parts talking about communicating with people of other cultures, since a LOT of my friends live in Europe. I ended up getting a 76% on the test covering chapters 1-5, so I’m going to have to study better for the next test.

I went to my old Calculus professor’s office today because I couldn’t figure out a step in his problem… It was x^2 * y^2 – 2x =3, and I had to find the second derivative…  I understood it til he got to taking the second derivative of the first derivative. For some reason my current professor decided it would be easier if he made the problem taking the derivative of a product instead of as a quotient… Ah well. I got 20/20 on the easy homework quiz, so I’m happy. It’s been 2 freaking weeks since my Statistics test and we STILL haven’t gotten the grades for it yet. I NEED my proof of my A!!! I’m going to be pissed if I got anything lower because it was EASY.

I also had Chemistry 2 today, and we learned about Acids and Bases. Nothing unusual, just some basics and getting pH and pOH. The professor said we’ll be learning about weak acids and bases in equilibriums next class, which is fine because I already know about this stuff… So what if I failed the test last time I took this course!!!!

LOL I read one of Chris’ friends blogs today and thought Chris wrote it for some reason. Around the middle I figured it wasn’t his, since Chris wouldn’t call himself an arse “because he keeps on making me feel stupid whenever I ask him a question about anything.”.  (Don’t worry Ben, I bother Chris about watching Bleach subbed constantly too!!!)

I’ve become interested in Chris’ friends *ahem, real friends* since I had that posting war on facebook with Eliza and Isabe- I mean, Miss Sarginson. <—- doesn’t seem too bright. You’d think she’d get the fact that I was commenting to someone else in the same post (I was replying to Chloe stupid!) if what I was saying was in no way, shape, or form a response to what she said. And if your friendship to Chris was so great, then he wouldn’t be talking about your friends the way he was, would he? Or does logic fail you?

Hmmm…. I’m planning on playing ms today if Chris wants to play with me… If not, I’m probably going to go study or something. As of this minute, it’s 9:30 for him, so he might be willing to play since he doesn’t like going to bed before 1 am when I talk to him (we HAVE to set a new record!!! 2:15 am isn’t good enough anymore!!!)

Hopefully tomorrow doesn’t suck… I like not having to worry about studying for tests… But I’m already needing to study for Calc seeing that the test is next Wednesday… Derivatives are so easy except implicit crap.
